Our facilities are great but our coaching roster is amazing.  Across our club and the East Grinstead Talent Academy we have over 20 coaches who bring a diversity of experience, all delivering high quality.

With such a large coaching team, the great facilities and the technology that is integrated into our site we provide a special experience for all hockey players.

Check out our match day experience

We really go to town on Premier League match days.  Juniors can become mascots, collect stickers and autographs and they also get to walk out with our own team and visiting sides.  We have music, flares, BBQ and drinks and we strive to create one of the best match day experiences in the UK.  And of course, U18 spectators go free !

Where is EGHC ?

East Grinstead Hockey Club is located at Saint Hill, Imberhorne Lane in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

How do I join ?

What's special about EGHC ?

You are !  Our members, the families and the volunteers that drive the club forward are what's special.  That said, we are blessed by operating out of a fabulous venue with unrivalled facilities, and by being able to offer a full pathway from U6 to GB including a Talent Academy.  We also have a passion for Indoor hockey as well as Outdoor.

What's a Talent Academy ?

England Hockey issues licenses to operate Talent Academies.  A license is a three year partnership and EG is required to deliver a portion of the performance pathway within the Talent Academy framework.  Currenlty the TA framework is focused on the U16 agre group for both boys and girls/

What's on offer ?

We offer hockey from U6 upwards.  We offer both a membership structure which involves opportunities to compete against other clubs, and to represent EGHC as well as "programmes" focused on developing specific age groups and capabilities.  We also offer day camps, 1:1 coaching and small group clinics at different points throughout the year.

Wha's on offer for parents ?

While the future superstars of hockey are out on the astro turf or in the indoor hall, parents can grab a coffee or a bite to eat in the amazing club house adjacent to the pitch, do some work using the free wifi or watch the action from various seasting and covered areas outdoors, or from the sports hall balcony when its indoor action !
